YEAR · 2026

San Savino Art was created for a poster competition, celebrating the patron saint of Ivrea and one of the city's most cherished traditions.
Every July, the streets come alive with horse performances, bringing together history, community and a passion that has shaped the identity of Ivrea for generations. Although the proposal was not selected, it remains one of the projects I feel most connected to, not because of its outcome, but because of the journey that brought it to life.

As I worked on the illustration, my thoughts kept returning to childhood memories.
I remembered nights when the stars shimmered like fireflies above the fields, the gentle sound of the Dora Baltea flowing through the city and the warm July breeze carrying the scent of summer. Ivrea became a dream suspended in time, filled with quiet wonder and familiar magic.
That feeling found its way into the final composition: the city resting in the embrace of a majestic creature, illuminated by a sky full of stars, capturing a fleeting moment where memory, imagination and place become one.
